Image inputs: PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 12 MiB and 24 megapixels; each dimension must be 64–65535 pixels. Targets identify five operating points; actual bitrate varies by image. Original resolution is the default; optional resizing preserves aspect ratio without upscaling. Large images may exceed available memory. Metrics use the actual RGB encoder input after any selected resizing, with transparency composited on white.
Decompression accepts .afp bitstreams produced by this model, without the original image. It is not a ZIP or JPEG decoder. This is lossy compression, not exact recovery of the source image or its metadata.
Paper examples use saved reconstructions and recorded metrics. Live results run compression and decompression. Session timing is not the paper benchmark.
Uploads and live results expire after one hour. Images are not used for training. Source-image rights remain with their owners.
